Wi-Fi 6E: How Is It Different From Wi-Fi 6

Wi-Fi generations prior to Wi-Fi 6 use the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands.

"Wi-Fi 6E" is a device that operates in the 6 GHz band too

The 6GHz spectrum works similarly to WiFi 6 over 5GHz, but provides additional non-overlapping channels.

As the Wi-Fi Alliance says, Wi-Fi 6E "enables 14 additional 80MHz channels and 7 additional 160MHz channels.

These channels do not overlap, which helps reduce congestion, especially in areas where many networks operate
