How to Use Chrome Memory Saver Mode?

A function of Google Chrome called Energy Saving aims to make the browser more energy-efficient.

According to Google, Energy Saver reduces background activity and visual effects on websites that contain animations and movies.

Click on the three-dot icon in Chrome’s toolbar then navigate to Settings > Performance.

Here, you can determine what initiates Energy Saving and switch it on or off.

Here, you may choose whether Chrome should activate Energy Saving when your laptop battery is 20% or lower or when it is unplugged.

Select the latter if you want to extend your runtime while using battery power, or the former if you just want to use the feature when your laptop is about to run out of energy.
