Google is Finally Rolling Out Emoji Reactions for Meet Video Calls

The company says the feature will be available first on iOS and the web, with support for Android coming soon

Google first announced the feature last year, but it's only now reaching users.

Users can click or tap the smiley face icon at the bottom to post reaction emojis that support different skin tones on video call

A small badge appears in the upper left corner of the tile on the web when the user responds with an emoji

If many people are reacting at the same time, you'll see a series of reactions on the left - just like live video comments.

Google says the feature will begin rolling out today and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
